Converse joins together with the New York City-based label Barriers in introducing a new take on the iconic Chuck 70 Hi. Barriers draw inspiration from The North Star, a 19th-century anti-slavery newspaper on the Chuck 70. A classic canvas upper is treated with embroidered text and co-branded detailing. The custom star graphics add additional detail. Hand-stitched embroidery and embroidered eyelets provide further detailing, while the striped polyester lace options and lace jewel add notable spotlighting. A rubber outsole underneath finishes the look.
